The airport is 6km from the city centre. Bus No.23 makes the 20-minute journey to the main train station, but a taxi is more convenient and costs less than €6.

The imposing 14th-century St Elizabeth’s Cathedral in the city centre is the largest church in Slovakia and the most easterly Gothic cathedral in Europe.
